This is one of a set of images that I took whilst enjoying a coffee overlooking the beach at St Agnes, Cornwall. I wanted to capture the movement of the surfers as well as the waves, hoping to create a more abstract or artistic feel rather than a ‘sporty’, action image. It is very much a hit and miss technique; you end up with a lot of misses that need to be deleted, but I was quite pleased with the results.

I feel that many of the blue and green colours that I use to frame the images are best for my surfers, but if there are any others that you think would be effective drop me a line!
